Wow, this guy (wolfgang) is nuts.

I did not sign up for the courthouse data collection because they didn't have work in my county. However, I got an "urgent" call one Saturday evening begging me to do an urgent data entry job that someone else didn't complete. I said sure and proceeded to enter almost 400 entries before I discovered I would only get paid 5 cents per entry. Sorry, but I don't work for less than minimum wage, but I did tell Jennifer I would complete the first job that I had started. Months went by and I never heard from them again. When cleaning off my computer I found the invoice I had sent them and decided to follow up and sent an email to Wolfgang requesting payment.

I got back a blasting tyrade of an email threating to file a harrassment lawsuit on me (for one email?). I responded back stating gee sorry, it's a whole $20 after all and I would not be recommending their organization to anyone that asked. I got another email threatening lawsuit for slander if I told anyone anything negative about his company. I don't think stating didn't get paid for work done is slander.

I would stay away from these guys. For some reason they require you to get an EIN from the IRS before working for them when as a contract employee and self employed the IRS does not require one. Seemed odd.

If they refuse to pay a measly $20 for a job I'm glad I didn't get more involved with them and do a LOT of work before I found out they wouldn't pay.

#2UPDATE Employee

Thu, July 02, 2009

I am a current employee/contractor for Wolfgangresearch.com ... the author of the complaint was there when I started and very gung-h*o! Wolfgang at the time (their representative), sorry it didn't work out for her but after a year now I wake up every day happier with them than the day b4. The real scoop is "It's WORK!" As much or as little as you care to put to it, but you do have to work for the money. My kids tried it and they'd rather their fast food jobs and thats fine. For myself it is the absolute most perfect "job" I've ever had, I make my own schedules, decide daily between working/making money with them or homemaking, etc and the check (WHICH I RECEIVE DIRECT-DEPOSIT EVERY 2 WEEKS WITHOUT FAIL FOR OVER A YEAR NOW) has grown steadily. When you "choose" your areas you do commit to deadlines and there are more rules to adhere to - after all they are an INFORMATION based company and need an enhanced accuracy to remain competitive. It's unfair that this report remains capitalized and flashes when the company is Googled, it is not only a legitimate organization that hires w/o discrimination & trains you for free while you make money but it is also easy overall. I have had few real problems along the way but when I did they were always resolved fairly and quickly ... then there was the time I messed up a whole batch, wrong login or something ... like $80 or $100 worth of work and it would have to be redone in the office and they said they wouldn't be able to pay me for it, which I understood because it was my error and then on payday I had to send a thank-you note coz the monies was there anyway. So, I'm smiling and had to write when I saw this nonsense, now gotta go make money. Thanks Wolfgang & company, I'm in the green again :)

I wish that we could get together with others that have issues with said company. please read my response to other complaints. Seems to me that they believe that they are above the law.

When I came across this posting..I just laughed. Wolfgang is up to his same old tricks. Believe me they will threaten you like crazy but more than likely they will not follow through. Just keep all the emails you received from him so you are covered on your end. Best of luck to you.
