This whole thing began the first weeks of March. I first heard from the company on March 13th. They billed me on April 11th (But had my credit card and approval to do so since initially signing up in early March).
We were live on Google AdWords on April 11th. We remained live until April 23rd, when our account was suspended without warning by Google. I have since learned through discussion with a representative of Google AdWords on May 18th (Today) that they do not allow advertisements for my type of business. I do not agree with this decision by Google and stand by my company which has 100's of satisifed and repeat customers, and do not understand why my company would be approved in the first place if they did not allow these types of ads.
Regardless of those beliefs, my complaint does not revolve around this suspension brought up by WordWatch in their rebuttal.
In that same discussion with the representative of Google Adwords on May 18th, she stated that the application of the coupon code is the responsibility of the person who opened the account. The account is in my name with my credit card, but the creation of the account, creation of the ads and keywords, AND THE APPLICATION OF THE COUPON CODE are the responsibility of WordWatch.
It is their responsibility because that is what is promised as part of the $149 I paid them. Throughout their website they use the words "starter plan", "get started", and the following line: "We will even provide a $100 AdWords coupon to get your campaigns off to the right start."
WordWatch claims the account was not open long enough for them to get around to posting this prior to my suspension. The account was open for 13 complete days (April 11 - 23). It was open long enough for Google to bill me $50.00 on April 16th, and of course the already mentioned $102.11, for a total of $152.11. Not to mention, WordWatch had almost a month of time prior to this launch during which we had retained their services while getting the account setup.
Their email correspondence has been similar in tone to their rebuttal here. Blame, excuses, and a refusal to understand or acknowledge their misleading website and product.

We tried to explain to the customer that the $100 coupon is provided by Google--and in this case, the customer's AdWords account was suspended by Google for Policy violations prior to the coupon being applied.
