I've worked with the company since April as an independent contractor under the stage name FanTiSeez. I've made a decent living providing services through iFriends, as have 1000's of other people. My livelihood depends upon the good name of the company, and the high level of service I strive to provide. I can assure you iFriends is a reputable company. Every safeguard is in place to keep your personal information secure. The $1.00 mentioned covers registration costs, and is still the current price to join the site. The $8.95 debit to your account was most likely incurred by someone with access to the card. In my opinion $8.95 was a very small amount to pay, for the services provided, and indicates the user was respecting the limits of your income. In malicious hands the bill could have much worse (maxed out). iFriends does offer adult web cam entertainment, and maybe that's the reason no one in the household is willingly accepting the bill. However, iFriends does offer many other services as well through independent contactors, such as; Personal Financial Services, Health & Wellness, Education, Career Planning, even Legal Advice. Due to the nature of the business I assume contested charges occur quite frequently, and I have spoken to guests who have been reimbursed due to technical issues resulting in less than satisfactory experiences.
