I needed to renew my passport. I went online, and through Google found uspassportonline.com.
The online form looked easy to fill in, so I proceeded to fill it in, and this is the problem. They get you to fill in all your information, including your credit card data and click two boxes that allow your credit card to be charged before any verification contact has been made. I exited the site after seeing all the additional government information that was needed. Surprise, surprise, I got a call from them and immediately canceled my order, but it was too late! They said I would be refunded. Here is the email I got.
Your order with US Passport Online LLC has been canceled. Please expect the refund to appear in 12 - 15 Business days from your cancellation date. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. Thank you very much and have a wonderful day!

I called the number above only to find out that it would be a partial refund. All this took place in less than 30 minutes! I will be contacting my bank and the BBB for additional help. I will get back to you here as this unfoldsStay tuned!
P.S. Deceptive, easy to fill in forms seem to be everywhere nowBeware!
