I booked at SUPER 8 through WYNDHAM website - www.wyndhamhotels.com
I canceled my reservation and received email verification.
I was still charged 10 days in advance. (Same day I canceled)
I contacted both WYNDHAM & SUPER 8.
SUPER 8 never replied.
I figured the charge will just drop off from 'pending' & that would be it (since SUPER 8 never replied)
Well, 3 days later the charge went through.
I contacted WYNDHAM again and I was told that they cannot help and it must go through SUPER 8.
I explained I tried to no avail and was told again from WYNDHAM that they are not responsible and to contact SUPER 8.
I MADE THE PURCHASE THROUGH WYNDHAM - they are taking zero responsibility.
I tried SUPER 8 a third time & .... NOTHING!
I contacted WYNDHAM to alert them and they passed the responsibility again, but this time they said they would contact SUPER 8 & promised me a reply ASAP.
Well ...
5 days later and 8 more attempts to contact SUPER 8 and not a single response.
I even offered to move the reservation to another date and ... NOTHING.
I contacted WYNDHAM one last time and was told that it is not their responsibility.
Meanwhile I booked through the WYNDHAM website because the WYNDHAM name is supposed to be reliable, but they refuse any/all responsibility for their hotels.
