Hales Global Group acts as an agent between the federal government and large and medium-size companies who want to sell a product or service to the federal government. They provide this service in Washington, as well as all over the world. Larry Hales states the following about his company, "we can pretty much serve as a matchmaker. We identify what contracts are available, [and] how much money the government is going to spend."
Leads for Hales Global Group are primary acquired through referrals. Mr. Hales went on to explain the typical sales process for potential clients, "before we do business with them we invite them to Washington, DC for a few days. When they come to DC, we like to show them in DC where we are housed, and then more importantly, we like to take them out to federal government agencies...they can talk to an agency and find out how things work." Mr. Hales went on to state, "we like to take them on Capitol Hill where they can talk to various senators and members of Congress, let them meet their staffers. Now when a potential client sees that we are working at the highest level, and we expose them to people who can say yay or nay about them." This process has results in highly positive results for their company.
CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – HALES GLOBAL GROUP
During the onsite interview Mr. Hales was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they receive. Mr. Hales explained that their most common complaint comes from people's lack of understanding government time lines. Mr. Hales stated, "the biggest problem that everyone has ever seen is that the time period from when the federal government puts out a requirement until an order is executed...the government has been operating on what's called a CR (continuous resolution). The agency will put a requirement and then pull it back in because they don't have the money to pay for it." Hales Global Group will do all they can do to help their clients understand the intricate procedures of the government.
When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Hales stated the following, "that one particular one was a German company...[that] wanted us to present to the Treasury Department some fake notes. We spoke with the Treasury Department Inspector General, and he warned us that those notes were fake. The federal government puts people in jail for a long, long time for trying to sell fake notes. Later we found that the same individual has ripped off another company and had used us as a referral." Hales Global Group would never partake in such illicit activities.
