Complaint Review: Adam Huber- Hostel on Haight St. - San Francisco California

Where do we begin? The 'Owner' says he owns the whole property, he doesnt. He says He owns several Hostels in Cities around the USA. He does not. He says he runs a hostel in beautiful Hawaii, with a beautiful Italian Lady, whom he loves. He obviously doesnt.

He lures you in and tells you its a wonderful hostel on Haight St, in a historical neighborhood. Only trouble is, he and you and one other are the only people allowed to stay for the night. Hostels are supposed to be dorm settings with bunk beds And Private rooms. None of the above exist. He sleeps in the room with you, for 30-60 dollars a night, on a run down dirty mattress. The cleaning people there are hired to steal bags from the tourists in the street and keep them there for him and them to go through and steal from. if its not wanted, the bag goes in the garbage.

He claims he used to pull stick ups with guns in the street and rob people. He smokes drugs, like Meth and Crack, on a nightly basis, holding parties till midnite. At that point, he says hes going to bed, lights out. at 12:30 or so, the owner, Adam Huber, wakes up and turns the lights and the music on really really loudly. He runs around drunk and sets off Fire Alarms in the building.He breaks bottles in his apartment, hte 'Hostel". he owns a shotgun that he keeps in the closet. He claims that a member of the band Grateful Dead is his brother. He brings home prostitutes and has sex with them in his raggedy bed. He asks repeatedly if you will go to the DMV and buy drugs for him. If you refuse, he likes to fight the next day.

He asks you to buy drugs for him. He brings home all these people that take bad acid before the party and even get hospitalized minutes after walking out. He gets drunk in the morning, and says he is on his way to work. You will find him at the local bar, at 10, 11 AM.  He buys a bag of weed every day. He has drug runners come up in his house everyday to buy him drugs sometimes 10 -15 times a day. He starts fights iwth the drug runners.

He physically, brags that he loves to rip off nurses and college students. He steals Park equipment from Golden Gate Parks and brings it home to set up wet slip and slides for get this, some of the local High school Kids, when they ditch school for local festivities that occur on Friday Afternoons, Weekends , etc.

He brags of sleeping with women who turn out to be runaways before they are 18 years old. He brings girls home who are runaways and seduces them with drugs and alcohol. He breaks peoples glasswear, even if they are guests in his home and or hostel.

Sad part is, Women and these girls sleep with him, while you are a guest there. His friends bring over bad drugs and try to get you to buy some. He sets up fake construction jobs for men and gets them fired. He steals money and threatens you he will get the hells angels after you if you argue with him or owe him moneys. He Tells you he has sex with all the women that come over and visit. He talks very piggish and mean about female freinds of his he says are extremely respectful.  He smokes crack. He tells you he is an iron worker and has a steam fitters union card. He never goes to work. He cuts his hands on purpose. He tells you all the neighbors have bugs. He tries to literally kill his neighbor's pets. He sets up knives in booby traps to kill animals. He has rats. He complains a rat slept on his chest while he was napping and he woke up with it staring him in the face. Its not his pet.

He brags about stealing Coleman sleeping bags after spilling fake animal piss and puke on them and bringing it to the cleaners for you and replacing it with a different broken cheap sleeping bag. He keeps the other bags he stole in a collection in his storage facility.  He starts big rip off scams, and tells loud funny obnoxious jokes, but is a complete loser with 66 pairs of identical eye glasses stored in his storage unit.

Adam Huber is a schizophrenic and an idiot. we would have liked him, but besides the young firls adoring him, you can tell why we didnt. Sad part is, the only thing we arent really sure about, is the number of identical eyeglasses he keeps in his unit.
