A saleman from Air Rescue Air Conditioning sold us this air conditioner with certain guarantees  Now I am trying to use one of the guarantees and am getting the run around. I even ask to speak to someone higher up and was told I could not speak to anyone because the higher ups are never in the office.



Anyway, we had a guarantee that if our electric bill was higher after getting this air conditioner, they would pay the difference.  First of all we have had nothing but problems since it was installed.  Have had to have them come out several times. For a month and a half we were cooling the attic. Had one guy come out and he pumped up the free on or what ever it is they put in the unit.  That did not work, the second guy that came out went in the attic and it was cooler in the attic than the house.  So some guys came out and fixed that.  But still having some problems with the vents.



Now I got the huge bills and Mike the Director of sales told me to send them in, so I did and now he is giving me the run around about paying the bills.  He said to me, oh, you know the electric company has had two raises so it costs more to run the unit, and also he will not listen to me that we are using more kw hours since the unit was installed and he said to me, oh don't you read the paper this has been the hottest month.  Wellllll every year we hear that.  I told him we were cooling the attic and it was their mistake and he does not want to hear about that.  one month we used 926 more kw hours and one month 236 kw hours over what we ever did in this house.  We live in a 5 star house and our bills have been as low as $75.00 a month and only as high as $199.00 and now $344.00.  We told that to the salesman when he sold us the air conditioning.



Nothing but excuses, it should be figured by kw hours used over what our normal usage is.  Now he tells me he wants a years worth of bills so he can average it out.  This is nonsense.  And also on top of it the guaratee is supposed to save us 25% on our bills.  No savings hear, higher bills.



We were also told by the salesman if we are not satisfied in the year we can have it taken out and we will be given a refund.  I of course will have to see how that goes, because I have told them when the heat is on there is a oil smell and I can't live with that going through my house and they keep covering that up.



This is no way to do business and I may have to take it to 8 on your side.  I am still working on this but they do not return my calls.  Even the Operations manager was supposed to call me after the last inspection of the unit and he has not. 



Oh and by the way, Alison, my unit is noisy also. Can't sleep some nights.  They told me it would be quieter.  All I can do is keep complaining. I wish I would have researched this company before I bought. I found they have a D+ in the BBB standards.
