I have watched my investment in Marlin Gold Mining LTD fall from over CAD 1.00 to CAD .12 in the last six months, due to the double dealing of Akiba Leisman, the Chairman of the Company and more importantly a principal of Wexford Capital. Heading up the incestuous relationship of Marlin Gold, Golden Reign, Wexford Capital and Sailfish Royalty, Mr. Leisman promoted Marlin Gold Mining in a fraudulant manner, while selling his position out and making sweetheart deals for the other companies that he is involved in, all at the expense of Marlin Gold shareholders.
While gutting Marlin Gold, he made sure the other entities involved in this fraud were handsomely rewarded and that he was personally well compensated. This double dealing will be examined by the TSX authorities shortly, and I expect him and his colleagues at Wesford Capital to be charged accordingly. This take-under absolved Sailfish's $14M commitment to Marlin while at the same time giving them for free two valuable NSR royalties and CAD 50M in receivables.
In response, the stock of Marlin has dropped 90% in a very short period of time. This is the worst kind of shareholder abuse and Akiba Leisman is a veritable Boiler Room stock promoter and should see jail time for his activities.
