I hired American Eagle Limousine to provide transportation for my wedding, and it was a total disaster. I was 45 minutes late to my own ceremony out in winery country because the driver refused to take the route I requested. The tire blew mid-ceremony, and we were stranded at the winery for an hour. We had a dinner scheduled back in DC, and I wasn't pleased that we were going to be late for that. Here's the real kicker though: the worthless driver didn't know how to change the tire, and there was no spare tire to be found. My husband's groomsmen had to remove the tire and put a donut on the 12 seat limousine. The company refused to send another limousine or contract with another area company. Of course, that donut shredded halfway back to DC, stranding the wedding party on the side of I-66 for 45 minutes. Again, AEL refused to send a replacement vehicle. They wouldn't return the driver's calls; he said he was going to have to call a friend to pick him up. A bus we had rented from Chariots for Hire to transport guests had to turn around and drive 30 miles to pick us up. We incurred over $400 in overtime as a result. At no time have I actually spoken with someone at AEL. I filed complaints with consumer protection agencies, and though AEL refuses to communicate with any of them either, it sounds like I will finally be getting a refund. Keep in mind I'm still out over $400 because of their incompetence. The situation was really dangerous and could have been disastrous. The investigator who worked on the case assured me it was NOT the first time she had seen complaints of the same nature. Apparently the company cannot maintain its vehicles and can't manage to send replacement limousines. At no time did anyone apologize for my experience. Not even the woman answering the phone. The "Director of Operations" never returned my calls or offered an apology. Spread the word about this HORRIBLE business.

Thank you for your review of the services that were provided by American Eagle Limousine for your wedding. We sincerely apologize for the issues that were encountered and have used this experience as a launch pad for our complete overhaul of our company; including training for chauffeurs, management and staff as well as pre-trip inspection processes by our mechanic and chauffeurs and requiring GPS devices in every limousine for every trip. We anticipate our improvements will resolve the issues you raised and appreciate you pointing out our inadequacies. We regret that the services you received were less than exceptional and would welcome the opportunity to provide you with services in the future to have you reevaluate your opinion of American Eagle Limousine.
