We contracted with Atlant Vanlines for a full Service Move which began on 4/30 2016. The movers arrived at our house at 9:30am. None of them could speak much English and were from Russia.(If you think moving is stressful to start with try it with people who don't understand the langauge) The arrived in a 26ft Moving truck which was already 1/3 full.
I was told over the next 20 minutes (That is how long it took to try to tell me that they were told by Atlant to drop what they were doing and come and move me due to language barrier! Then they pulled the Bait and Switch contract. The driver told me at that time that my wife's contract would be honored!
So the moving started although I told them at the beginning that my stuff wouldn't fit into the 1/3 full truck it took them another hour to figure out! So they stopped and took the truck to a local Storage Ficility to store the furniture they arrived with. It took them over 9 hrs to load a 26 ft truck LOL. They left at 7pm planning to deliver that night after Midnight in a gated community! So My wife called Aaron the Senior Coordinator to tell them they couldn't deliver that late so he told her that they would get a room and deliver on Sunday 5/1 She asked him at that time if we would be charged more due to Sunday delivery and he assured her at that time that her ballance would be the same 934.00.
When the movers arrived Sunday morning they wanted an additional 1,050.00 and when My wife asked why she was told that it was because of all of the hours they spent!!! Amazing! My wife refused to pay as she had a Guaranteed contract price! The Driver told her that if she didn't pay they would charge her another 1,000.00 for redelivery and storage again my wife refused. She tried to call Aaron but he wouldn't answer the phone! So the Driver called the Police on my wife thinking that they could force my wife to pay( That must be how they operate in Russia)
So the police came and informed the Russian that it was a civil matter and could do nothing. So the movers left with all of our belongings and held the hostage until 5/15 2016 until I agreed to pay the Extorsion Money!
During those 15 days nobody from the company would answer my calls or talk to me in anyway! They have a Third Party Company contact called Moving Claims.net The move was supposed to cost 1,250.00 the final Bill was 3,184.00
So now you know that this company can't be trusted so if you use them you will get what you deserve as I have showed you there true side.
I did forget to mention that they even changed the reason why they charged me more claiming it was the load not the hours! They are no more a Five star mover than I am Bill Gates Illigimate Son and I am older than Gates so that should show the odds! I also believe that their Reviews are also a Farce!

The BBB was told by Atlant that they were out of Business! LOL They are not! Don't be sucked in by these people! They make Trump Univerisity look like and Honest Learning Institution! I have the Name of the owners if anyone would like to know for legal purposes! Make sure Florida Residents you file Complaints with the Department of Agriculture and the Fl. Attorney General and the BBB! Don't ever give up! I won't! I am currently writing the US Department of Immagration to seek their help as the owners are Russian and they are bringing Immrigants from the Motheland to perform their moving!

Funny that you ran away when I mentioned doing the right thing! You also said that "We care about our Reputation"
So folks read my story and the Rebuttal Headder from the owner which said "We Got Better" How could you have been worse???
You fixed the problem in Jan. and my move was April 30th through May 15th! Looks like you need to go back to the Drawing Board!
Let me make it simple for you Alex. You can't have a good Reputation when you cheat people out of money and then do nothing to correct the problem!

So if you are the new people why hasn't a person there ever given me a call as Aaron and Benjamin refused to return my calls and explain as your so called 5 Star Guarantee states that your Moving Coordinator would give assistance throughout the Entire Move! No one from your Company would return my calls when it went bad! So if you are Truly a 5 Star rated company you will return the 1,924.01 That is the amount we were charged over the Guaranteed price we werer told! Here is your chance to do the Right Thing and be the 5 star mover you claim as your people caused the entire problem 100%! You are responsible for the Contractors you hire! I haven't even mentioned the damaged items! If you are the owner as you say you need to go take a good look at what your people are doing!

Need to inform all our customers, that from January, 1 the managment of Atlant Van Lines completely changed. We fired previous managers, hired highly professional movers. This is not our customer and someone wants to make a bad reputation about us. I really regret, but what i would like to say that most of our customers are very satisfied with our service. We are trying to do our best to provide AAA service, but some people can not sleep well not to put a bad review about us. Envy is a bad thing. Thanks for your attention.
