Atlast Van Lines, Inc., University Van Lines Will not deliver when promised. Evansville Indiana
I wanted to file complaint with Atlas Van Lines, US DOT No. 125550, as we have been having issues in getting our shipment. Our stuff was picked up in NJ on October 3rd and was to be delieverd to San Diego no later than October 22nd. We were promised today, Oct 22nd, as the delivery date when we called last week and when I called today to try to get a time estimate for delivery, I was told that our stuff is still sitting in NJ and they cannot provide us with a delivery estimate.
We have tried calling the company directly, only to be transferred from person to person. We have been waiting for almost 3 weeks and will most likely have to wait at least 2 more. This is unacceptable, as all of our belongings are on the truck and we have been living without anything since October 5th. We will have to incur additional charges when we go out later today to buy things that we simply cannot live without any longer that are on the truck. Avoid this company at all costs!! There are pleny of reputable movers out there.
