""Credit cards are for people who don't mind paying thru the nose to say charge it. I get a prepay cc thru visa or mastercard load my money on it and don't have the hassles. NOW if you feel you don't deserve the late payment fee, over the credit line fee, or those high interest rates thats being added to your loan ,along with things like insurance you don't order that shows up on your bill."" Credit cards are great for folks with a STABLE income, cash reserves, maintain accurate and up to date financial records, and pay their bills on time. I've had a credit card (that's right-ONE credit card) since 1973 and I don't pay any fees for the card. I pay it off in full every month so I don't pay any interest either. I also have a buyer protection plan with the card (VISA Platinum.) Pre-loaded "credit cards" (they're not really credit cards-they are a form of bank card) are good for folks who have little to no cash reserves, unstable income, or poor record keeping skills. These cards usually come with heavy FEES and absolutely NO buyer protection.
