I went to Bashas at 1920 W. Chandler Blvd sometime between 3 and 4 o clock on Monday afternoon, February 16, 2015. I rode in on my bike. I locked my bike up at the bike rack in front of the store.

I walked into the store bought some cookies and walked out. I noticed my keys were missing as soon as I got to my bike. My bike was locked with a blue U-lock so there is no cutting the lock.

I was searching for my keys because without my bike, I had a long walk of about 5 miles. I've asked if anyone has turned in my keys. They all said no, they have also said that they didn't find any keys after a sweep through.

I search again, I've even searched everything I had to see if I had somehow put them somewhere unusual. I tracked all of my steps too. No sign.

I checked the time and noticed that I had to get to my storage before it closed, so I walked to my storage. The walk was about an hour each way. So I walked for 2 hours to and from my storage because I had to get something.

I returned to check if the keys have turned up, they still haven't turned up. I began thinking about another way to free my bike when a couple of managers have told me that I needed to leave. I explained to them my situation.

They offered to call someone to help me with my bike. I told them to do it. It turns out they called the cops to have me trespassed, at least according to one of the cops.

I had a discussion, I found out it is legal. One of the cops told me that if I was trespassed, I couldn't even return to pick up my bike. I told them what the managers told me. One of the cops go in for a while.

The cop returns and says that they told her that I'm okay to return later. I returned a couple of days later on Wednesday to see if my bike was still there. It was still there so I went ahead and disconnected the bike from my front tire.

I had to carry it to a safe place away from the shopping center. Then I walked to my storage in order to check and see if I had any compatible rims. I found one and finally put it on my bike.
