Bellagio Fine Jewelry Inc. Delray Jewelry Exchange Scammed me out of money. Buyer Beware. Delray Beach Florida
I came into the store, for the first time, with a picture of a gold chain design that I was looking for. I saw Benjamin Gutman, the owner. Benny said he could find the exact chain. He showed me a catalog picture but it looked different. So he said he'll order and if I don't like it when it comes in, I won't need to buy it. Didn't even discuss pricing. Needless to say, he asked for a refundable deposit but said not to worry and that he would refund if I didn't like it, when it came in or didnt match what I wanted. So I had nothing to worry about. Or so I thought.
Benny promised me the chain would arrive 2 days later. I came a few days later - wasn't there. I came a week later, still no chain. Finally told me his daughter forgot to order it. 3rd time I came a few weeks later, to ensure it was there. Chain finally came however it looked nothing like original picture. He refused to refund the deposit, saying I should've came more times - as if I had nothing better to do with my time than to drive there every day. Totally ignoring my 2 other attempts and his false arrival dates and stories. Now $500 is gone and I have nothing to show for it. This guy is a real scam artist.
