Do not allow your condo assoication to switch to Broadstar Cable/internet/telephone. I live in a community that has Broadstar Cable, internet and phone service. They have not delivered us ANY of the service that had promised us. For almost 9 months, they have been promising to upgrade our services in our townhome community and for 9 months, they have not delivered. Our channels constantly freeze for weeks, there are almost no channel options, and local baseball games are blacked out because they use one satellite feed for the entire community. They have done NOTHING to fix this problem, even after many, many, many complaints from many of the residents.

Their internet is also about 10 times slower than they promise, I check the speed almost daily. If you call customer service, you leave a message, then, if you are lucky, they call you back about a week later. This is also a safety issue since they are the sole provider of telephone service in our community, as well. Our telephones did not work for almost a week before they finally sent over a technician.

Currently, our condo association is voting to accept bids from competing companies. The developer's brother owns Broadstar so in the master documents, we have to get 75% of the owners vote to remove Broadstar or else we are stuck with them for 7 years. We have many absentee owners, so this may be a difficult vote. Be warned - do not switch to Broadstar and do not move into a community that offers Broadstar Cable. They are nothing but a headache.

Just want to comment on some real good service on my past two encounters with Broadstar people at Herons Glen in Ft. Myers. Kevin took his time to explain the use of the remote and how the new system works. He also located a problem with the phone system and eliminated a great amount of static on the line. Tina helped fine tune my TV system by explaining how to set up new added channels which I was unable to pick up.

My rating for her pleasantness and exceptional service is 10++ on a scale from 1-5. Her follow-up e-mail to inform me that my request was completed is appreciated also. It was indeed a pleasure working with her...My first encounter with your company was with Caryn. I never wrote but was very impressed with her assistance, too.

I just finished a call with Bashair to set up my internet connection and HD TV service. I have to say it's rare I've received such a great customer service experience. He did a great job, and personalized the experience. Thanks for encouraging your reps. to take the time to treat your customers individually and personally. It's greatly appreciated.

My name is Naomi and I am a BroadStar customer...I can truly say that I am very happy with Broadstar service. The service is great!! The first day I had my service installed they were very friendly and had great customer service. They answered any and all questions I had, even at times they already knew the questions I was going to ask before I even said anything. When the installer came to my home, he explained everything to me and showed me how to use the guides and helped me set up my computer. If I had a problem or if my wireless went out, it did not matter what time it was, I just made one call and they were able to help me and walk me through everything, and if I still had a problem they had somebody out that morning. This is by far the best cable company I have had in a very long time. I tell my friends and family about this company because they are great. I give them a 10 in everything they do to make their customers happy. So if you are have second thoughts about not going with this company, then I would say you are making a big mistake. I am not only a customer, but I also tell all my residents at the community I work at about them, and they too love them. The prices beat all other cable companies. As I said my name is Naomi and I am proud to be a BroadStar customer.
