Carrpet Palace of Fairfax Va Lied about cutting carpet to fit room. Took 6 days to prepare uncut rug. Fairfax Virginia
Lied to us about cutting the carpet. We picked up the carpet and they told us "The smaller piece is inside, and we gave you some extra as well". We thought, great, this is so nice.
The total size of the carpet was 40'x14' so there was no way to unroll the carpet and check it, and besides, who would assume they are lying to us. Also to note, it took 6 days to get the carpet because they needed a few days to cut it for us. When we got it home and unrolled it, the carpet wasn't cut.
We called them and immediately they started claiming that we didn't ask them to cut it. We stood there for 15 minutes going over the room measurements with the salesman and he assured us that it would not be a problem and that they would make sure that the pattern lined up. We went in to the store today to discuss it and they called US liars. Do not buy from these guys. Look at the bad reviews vs the good reviews and ask yourself which ones seem legit.
