Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Chase hired me to be an Underwriter. I have over 15 years experience underwriting loans in one capacity or another. I have only worked for 2 companies in my entire life. After I was hired I had to go through a Chase training process to learn the mechanis of thier software, pretty normal stuff. However after about 4 weeks I was told that I had to take special tests to get lending authority with Chase--if you dont pass you may not be able to keep your job, my manager said--creating a pressure that truly created a hostile work enviorment. I took 6 tests (Im not a good test taker) I passed 4 out of 6 and then they wanted me to take more tests--mind you NONE of this testing was told to me in the interview process or when I was hired. After about 2 more weeks of Underwriting and approving loans I was called into my Managers office one day and she had her manager on the phone tell me I was being let go. I said "why?!!" she said we re excercising our 90 day option. I said --huh? I could not believe what I was hearing. Then to make things embarrasing--the manager walked me to my desk like a criminal held my arm on the way out and told me not to talk with anyone. I could not beleiev what was happening to me. Since then I have been applying at different places but I cannot ever forgive this company for what they did to me. I wonder if they realize that I am a customer too--not just an employee. If you are thinking of doing business with this company -Chase bank--just remember how they treat a Father who has a wife and a family.

Most types of employment are at-will...which means the employer can let you go when they want for any reason they want. Stop making excuses. Stop crying and go get another job. If you are so concerned because you have a wife and kids then go take care of them and stop dwelling on this.

since I lost my job, then shortly thereafter my wife and home that you're dumb a*s has precedent over me huh?

I'm sure the test had to do with licensing you too.  I did what you did for a scumbag company unlike Chase's big time status and had to be licensed in my states.

Be glad you only lost your job bro, you have your family.  stfu and go find you a job.

If you have to do something you don't want to do to make your dough.  I got a degree and was delivering chinese food for a while to pay my rent.

You were not fired for NO REASON.  You were fired because you didn't pass 2 of the required 6 tests.  I would also bet that the additional tests they wanted you to take was in fact a re-take of the 2 tests you failed.  Think of this another way, if you got 4 of 6 numbers in the lottery are you entitled to the jackpot?

If these tests were on regulations and procedures, no wonder they need you to pass them.  They don't want some underwriter approving loans when they shouldn't have been if they knew the procedures.  Especially with the current financial situation.

You passed 4 of the 6 tests.  So the "bad test taker" excuse is probably just that an EXCUSE.  In that you are probably not a bad test taker, and it could just as easily be that you didn't know the material.  I can guarantee you that they had more than a few people applying for the same job, and would be able to pass all of the tests.

While your situation is unfortunate.  What makes you special over every other person who has a wife(or husband) and a family that is also looking for a job?  Does the number of kids you have give you special bonus points in applying for a job?   If not then why even bring that into this report?

You were Fired from your job, because you can't spell (look at your posting)  AND you failed 2 of the 6 necessary tests.

Sorry dude, you need to become a better test taker.  BTW, what does you being a Father, and having a wife got to do with you being "Entitled' to a job?
