I received a 79.95 charge on my account. I called my bank to tell them that I have an unauthorized charge on my account. They told me that they will make an investigation on it as soon as I send a letter stating my situation.

They then told me that they will deactivate my check card to prevent future scams.

Then, I called the number (877-513-4175) and told them that I did not authorize the charge. The operator sounded irritated. I could tell that he had plenty of these calls everyday.

He told me that my account has been cancelled, I will get a refund in 7-10 days, and i will get an email confirming this. It's been 30 minutes and still no email...

I have decided to postpone the bank business. I'll wait for two weeks for my refund, and if no money, i'll change my account number, credit card, and send the letter to the bank to start the investigation.

For fun, I asked the operator what on earth does 79.95 a year pay for. He said that it pays for unlimited credit reports. Although, I looked at their website and I still have to pay additional fees to get credit reports.

I expected an email confirming my cancellation and my refund but I did not receive it. I called them on Friday and called back on Monday asking them for my confirmation email. They told me that they already sent me an email. I looked at my mailbox and knew that they did not. I asked them if they could send me another one. They told me they could only send one! What one?!
