Worked for both Michael Munar and David Lane on Lux5's San Jose 2008 summer event. The event took place on 7/26/09 and I was paid with a check of $1,000 USD. However, the check was lost on that day. I emailed Michael on 7/27/09 and asked him to put a stop payment on that check so whoever finds the check can't deposit it and Michael agreed to write me another one. (Everything is email documented) For the past 7 months, i've heard only empty promises about how they are sending out my check soon. It's now close to March and I have not heard anything back from Michael nor David since October 08 until recently when i told them Im considering filing a small claim against Lux5.

Daivd then emailed me and said that the first check that was issued to me was cashed out in Sept and that's why they are not writing me another check. (again, for 5 months my emails to Michael were getting 0 respond.) I explained to David that I had inform Michael of the lost check issue the very next day of the San Jose event and I had asked him to take proper action regarding to the situation (stop pay on the check).

David Lane called me today with a unknown phone number and said it was my fault that i lost my check (funny enough, he had written me an email just 2 days ago saying it wasn't my fault that i lost the check because the trade show center was so busy and i had so much to do.) I asked why his accountant didn't put a stop payment on that check right away and his answer was that it was my fault to begin with and that they shoudln't have to write me another check. I told him he should really be talking to his book -keeper who didn't do her job. He said he didn't put a stop payment on the check cause he thought no one would cash it. Well,,,,too bad for him and his stupid book-keeper but anyways..pretty much, David was casting the blame on me and trying not to pay me. He said and i quote "you need to realize it's time for you to grow up! If your car was stolen you don't ask another one from the car dealership!" How funny and how low can these people be? But I'll do everything I can to get my money back because i do have evidence regarding to this matter (all the exchanged emails btw me, Michael Munar and David Lane.. thank GOD i saved them!)

Lux5 is a shallow and cheating company. David Lane's character is especially flawed. He's really a low class son of xxxxx. If you would like to see any of the exchanged emails between David, Michael, and Myself feel free to leave me a note. I will forward them or even fax them over to you!

My update regarding to this post is to clarify that the statement i made above and quote "Lux5 is a shallow and cheating company. David Lane's character is especially flawed. He's really a low class son of xxxxx." is WRONG. Because the overdue wages has to do with the accounting department of Lux5 and the accountant who did not take proper actions regarding to the issue not the business itself. I have no understanding of how Lux5 run their business therefore, its not right to say ""Lux 5 is a cheating company" or that they scam their clients. As far as for the unpaid wages, Michael and I are working to settle it as of 3/2/2009.
