I ordered a handbag from the Designer Palace and received confirmation of my order from the seller via email on February 2, 2005. The email confirmed my order and said to "...allow 1 and a half to 2 weeks for shipping as well as inquiring on order status..."

On March 11, 2005 I emailed them the following:

"I have not received my order and I would like an update on where it is. It has already been well over a month. Please update me on the status of my order. Thank you!"

They replied the very next day with:

"Once it arrives you will be notified. Thanks"

I immediately replied asking for more specific information since I felt like they owed me more than a vague answer since they had long since charged my card for the purchase, but that was the last reply I ever received from Designer Palace.

It has been nearly 3 months since my original order and it looks like my only remaining option is to file a chargeback with my credit card company since the sale has not been completed. I would have rather received a crappy product rather than no product at all.

The Designer Palace website is down, the phone number they provided is disconnected, but the email address appears to still be good as I have not gotten any bounce-backs to my inquiries (which means they are just flat-out ignoring them).

I'm not writing this to say the company was rude or sent me a "less than perfect product." I am writing to say that they have totally neglected a paying customer AND have not shipped my product; in my mind this is just as bad, if not worse.
