I hired Shay Castilla to do a door knob hanger campaign for my company. She printed my flyers but when it came time for her to deliver them she said they were all delivered. For some reason I didn’t get any inquiries at all. I was then told none of them were delivered at all.
When I asked her for a refund she told me to screw off as she doesn’t give refunds. She was extremely rude to me and she had her husband call me to threaten me as well. Whatever you do don’t do business with her. Find a reputable company.

I wrote the report, not once did I claim to be with Houston Heights helpers. I have my own company that was ripped off by Shay, the reason I mentioned you was because she used your name as a reference and led to me placing a order with her. But it seems she ripped you off as well.
I’ve tried getting a refund from her and she just ignores my calls and emails. I paid her by check so I have no recourse to get my money back. There’s got to be a way to stop companies like this from ripping off small businesses who are barely getting by.

I do not want to play favorites or sides, but let me say. This Ripoff Report was not prepared by me, Gary Lehman of Houston Heights Helpers. There are always two sides to every story and the truth lies somewhere in-between. Let me tell you my story. I hired Fast Gorilla to distribute 10,000 flyers in Houston and 10,000 in Austin. In Houston, I received phone calls immediately upon the first day of distribution.
After such time, I did not receive calls. No appointments in Austin. I touched based with Shay, and she did say, all flyers were sent out, based on her best knowledge. A month Later, I get a call from a worker saying she had not been paid by the guy that hired her. The young lady worker indicated that she had put out 2 days of flyers with houston area code numbers on them and the hiring manager indicated that they had put out the wrong flyers.
The truth will not be known. I have talked to the guy that hired this young lady, I have talked to the young lady, I have talked to Shay with Fast Gorilla. I have agreed with Shay that she will put out 5000 flyers in Austin to make up for this mistake that happened under her subcontractor. Upon completion of these flyer distribution, I will let everyone know the outcome. However, be it known that the representation of Gary as Houston Heights Helpers, and the notes indicating that "She told me to Screw Off" is absolutely false. She has been nothing but cooperative, and so has the subcontractor. That said, I am sure there is more to the story behind the scenes that I do not know about. Everyone messes up, it is what happens next which defines a persons character and I hope Shay upholds her end of the aggreement.
May everyone be blessed and with grace. Remember that in a few days we will celebrate the resurrection of our savior. Without Jesus, life would be different.
