Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I am a former employee of Father Choice, this company uses lies, unfair and deceptive practices leading consumers to believe that Father's Choice will resolve their custody or child support issues. They only can help you prepare the legal documents, they are not a law firm and they don't have enough staff or time to keep up with the hundreds of new victims they sign up for their worthless memberships every week!

Father's Choice operates many websites all over the internet in an attempt to have you fill out the online form so one of their sales people will call you.

Do you remember when the person on the phone said, "we can absolutely help you resolve this issue?"

It was all read off a script, the person who called you has one goal, to get you to sign up for services and turn you over to a "case manager" who will ask you for more money. Everyone involved gets a piece of the action, that's the only motivation, rip off someone else so I can get paid.

After the money is withdrawn from your bank account you may speak to the the "case manger" who has no formal training and is just another sales person reading a script who will attempt to get more money from you.

The company downloads the court forms from the internet, and often sends you worthless paperwork filled with errors that you will have to fix on your own.

If you are involved with Fathers Choice...RUN AWAY!!

I have read your comments here on Rip Off Report and I want to help you report this company and it's owner Brian Azouz to the authorities. It's time for Brian Azouz to go to jail!!

The California Attorney General has been notified but you can also write a letter detailing your experience to:

The real truth about Father's Choice

#3UPDATE EX-employee responds

Wed, September 03, 2008

I was recently an employee of Father's Choice for 3 1/2 weeks and was terminated for poor results as a salesman and I would like to set the record straight about this company. First of all, Azouz Training Group is a licensed C Corp. in California. For the most part, Father's Choice is a professional organization that treated me very well from day one to my last day. It is a normal office with normal people, just like you and I. Father's Choice is a perfectly legal company that legally sells a service to consumers accross the country. They do use a script and deceptive sales techniques, but so do many Fortune 500 companies. You may not like what they do and you may feel like you were "scammed" out of your money, but that is shame on you for not researching the company before giving them your credit card number. There is a reason why the BBB complaints have not affected their company. What they do is legal! They have attorneys on staff that probably spend most of their time reviewing the legality of the business because they do not work on cases according to those that have complained to the BBB, LOL. The only claim that Brian Azouz makes that I feel is false is that his employees care about your kids. 90% of the sales staff and case managers could care less about anyone's kids. As a matter of fact, almost every case manager and salesperson told me the same thing. "If I was in a custody battle and wanted my kids, I would pay for a real attorney". You get what you pay for. Companies like Father's Choice are what make this country great. Entrepreneurialship at its best. I tip my cap to Brian and his employees and I wish them the best of luck.

Brian, I am a consumer who has been "scamed" by Fathers Choice. Will you please tell us, the consumers, what business name you use on your business license. Fathers Choice or Premier Family Services are not listed as a corporation, LLC, or any type of business, for that matter, licensed in California.

I am a Case Manager here at Fathers Choice. This "former emplyee"'s statements are unfounded. Our documents are not "pulled off the internet", they are custom tailored for each member, as each members case is different. Also, everyone here cares deeply about assisting parents to get the rights they deserve. we have an entire wall filled with pictures of members children that they have sent in telling us "Thank You!". I am proud to work for this great organization, and even happier when every day I get calls from parents telling me thank you. So to the author, you seem to be holding a grudge, and not stating facts, but speculation. As far as your statements against Brian Azouz, he constantly is telling us that our number one priority is getting these cases in court, our concern is the children, not money. Again, I am proud to be a Case Manager and will continue working to get these parents their rights that they so well deserve.

It sounds like you're a great salesman, why don't you share with the consumers some of your success stories or provide some data/numbers of how many cases you have actually been successful in and helped to resolve. That could help to clear your name, because all the consumers hear about your company is that it's a scam. Conduct your business right from the first step and actually accomplish what you promised to your customers and you won't have this problem. Don't expect we the consumers to believe you're not a con artist when you try to apologize when you have a F rating in the Better Business Bureau and the consumers payment still managed to fall into your corporate bank account. Best regards, Jerry Brown in California

Response from Brian Azouz to former employee

#7REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, July 22, 2008

We invite this possible employee to give us his name and also the reason he was terminated. The purpose of this invitation is two-fold: (1) to verify that this person is actually an ex-employee of the company and (2) to engage this person in a dialogue here on Rip-Off Report concerning his serious allegations. If he is not interested in providing his name or engaging in productive dialogue regarding his serious allegations, then perhaps he is not really trying to help anybody at all. We advocate for fathers. We help parents that want to see their children more often. Sometimes we make mistakes. When that happens we exercise our satisfaction guarantee policy that includes a full refund and then we redo the case file for free. Contrary to this person's report, we have worked with our members to help them resolve over 5000 custody, visitation and child support cases. It is true that we are growing due to our members' phenomenal success rate and satisfied customers are passing on our name to others. Our staff is constantly evolving as a result of this growth. In anticipation of further growth, we hire more staff each successive quarter, training them in advance to be effective and offer quality service. Our intake staff and case management team gathers relevant information to the member and then the legal team puts together the requisite documents. Members are then educated by an attorney on what to expect in court. Contrary to what this person has written, our case management staff is made up of men and women who are parents who have experienced divorce and the associated difficulties so that our customers are talking to someone who understands. Each of our case managers has been familiarized through an in-depth training process with all family law issues and their primary function is to gather relevant information for our legal staff to use in the preparation of documents and coaching of members. Our Case Managers are not Attorneys; they are hired because they care about helping people. They love it when a member sends in a picture of his family that says "We won, thanks for your help." Believe me this is the best part of my job also. Contrary to what was stated about document preparation, our legal staff does extensive research into the exact forms needed for a case, speaking in many cases with court staff in specific counties. We advise our members to look over the documents we have prepared for them for any spelling or factual errors and we make immediate corrections. We encourage anyone concerned about a family law issue to visit our website and glean the wisdom and encouragement that is there - www.fatherschoice.org. We will answer each and every customer service issue on an individual basis and encourage members with complaints to contact us directly at (800)964-1664 to resolve any issues. Finally, we sincerely want parents to succeed in achieving more time with their children. This mission is the bottom line for all of our staff. Sincerely, Brian Azouz Chief Executive Officer Fathers Choice www.fatherschoice.org (800) 964-1664
