Mark Collett / Genesis Group destroyed our home failing to properly tarp to protect from rain while renovating. Collett regularly hired illegal labor [unbeknownst to us at the time] performing substandard workmanship that needed subsequent repairs.
Collett's insurance co paid us $30,000 in damages but only after we hired an attorney which cost $80,000. We paid subsequent contractors $122,000 to repair his substandard workmanship. Total loss $172,000.
Collett now has several pending complaints at the Md Home Improvement Commission. DO NOT EMPLOY this person at any cost.
Contact me anytime for proof of complaint, damages and additional details.

This report is one big lie and this homeowner knows how to play the system to cheat contractors. Several contractors turned this job down, but I was stupid enough to take the job which is one of my all time biggest mistakes. Don't work for this homeowner. Call me and I can inform you of how many law suits this man has been involved with. He cheated me out of over $80,000. I have zero pending complaints with the Home Improvement Commission. Check for yourself. I take pride in my work and I have hundreds of satisfied homeowners. Call me and I will be happy to give anyone references on my work.
