Glenn Kolodny Ripoff/Fraud would be an upgrade for Avery Internet
Avery Air service person came to my home to inspect my AC. He said I needed freon and quoted me a price of $325 and I accepted it. After they put the freon in he presented me with a bill for $1200 for the freon which was absolutely absurd. He said I misunderstood his quote. I have had freon put in AC units over the years and never paid this much or even close to it.
I asked him to take the freon out and he refused to do so. I said I would pay him the $325 and he said no and that I needed to talk to his supervisor. A call was made on the spot to his supervisory who was obviously part of the ripoff. I told him I was not paying and asked him to leave my house as he was rude and vulgar/threatening.
They appartently looked up my credit card number from a previous visit and charged my card without my permission which I will deal with.
This company is nothing but fraud. Stay away from them and avoid the scam. BTW...the freon they put in leaked out the next day and I had to buy a new unit.
Do not use them and certainly if you do, do not believe their quote.
