Gore Research MyScanTool software is unstable in Windows 7 Ultimate and uninstallable on Windows 8.1 - They will not respond to complaints nor refund your money. Do not buy their product! Logan West Virginia
I purchased their MyScanTool software (v5.9) and OBDII adapter on October 27, 2014. I was unable to get it to operate properly and so on November 22, 2014 using their "Contact Us" email submitted a request for a refund. I waited 8 days with no response even though they claim to answer within 24 hours. On December 1, 2014, I again attempted to contact them on the same email system. Again, no response.
I began to do a little research on them and have found a number of similar complaints. I also discovered they are on Facebook under David Gore Photography. I left a statement there for them to read. I have also initiated a dispute report with PayPal whom through I paid for the product.
I would serirously recommend you do not do business with this company/people unless you like being separated from your money.
