Hilton Garden Inn Sneaky breakfast overcharge Lancaster Pennsylvania
Hilton Garden Inn Lancaster offers a breakfast buffet for $8.95. It looks like a good deal.
They have eggs made to order plus various hot foods.
They have cereals and fruit and various cold foods.
All this is laid out in typical buffet fashion, and you can have anything you want.I got bacon and eggs and made myself two slices of toast. My companion got a bowl of fruit and some yoghurt. It was all good.
But the rip-off came with the check.
When you take bacon and eggs, the house calls that their "hot buffet." The make-it-yourself toast does not come with the "hot buffet." It costs $2 extra.
And if you get any fruit, under house rules, you have selected the "fitness breakfast." And yoghurt does not come with the "fitness breakfast." It cost a couple of bucks extra.We paid our check in full and left.
I just want to nominate that restaurant manager for Doofus of the year.
