I purchased a sale lot of 36 napkins from Imperial Textiles (aka Uniformsandlinens. com).  The description did not specify the fabric content of the napkins.  I phoned their customer service dept and asked the representative what the fabric was.  I guess I shouldn't have told him I needed 100% cotton because as soon as I did, he enthusiastically assured me that they were "100% cotton".



When the order was received I found that the napkins are not 100% cotton (they feel like all poly), not crisp, and some are unraveling at the edge. 



I contacted customer service via email and their response was "...this napkin does not say anything about being all 100% cotton as it is a clearance item". 



I replied and explained again that that was the reason why I called their customer service before I ordered -- to ask what the fabric content was.  I again stated that I was assured prior to ordering that the lot I was interested in was "100% cotton". 



They did not respond to my email.



BEWARE - it appears that when an item is non-refundable (as are many of their sale items), the customer service representative of Imperial Textile aka uniformsandlinens.com will tell you anything you want to hear in order to make a sale. 



Crappy service, crappier quality.

Our clearance cloth napkins (from .79 apiece) do not specify what the material is in the description, correct.  We absolutely deny lying to any customer for any reason, especially in order to sell just 36 napkins.  We do over 20,000 orders a year and yours is the only complaint on this website. 

All the napkins we sell are restaurant grade, as we primarily sell to this market.  You should have asked for a supervisor to try to help you with your issue. 

If you wish you may contact us at info at imperialtextile com and I will personally try to solve this for you.  We record many of our calls and if we can verify that you were lied to or misled accidentally, we will take care of your complaint.
