How I ever fell for this offer I'll probably never know but I do know that I will never give my personal information to anyone online again; especially to a company such as Low Pay Card Inc. This company contacted me from thier Portland, Oregon office and this girl proceeds to tell me of this service that offers people who are pretty much "financially embarrased" an opportunity to re-establish thier credit. At any rate, what I was told was a far cry from what transpired.

What I was told was that there would be a $79.00 prossessing fee and no other payment would be taken out until my package arrived and the card would be activated. Now, this took place on 11/24/07.

Now somewhere along the line; shortly after 12/06/07 I was informed that I was being charged for an overdraft on my account. well lo' and behold I find out that LPC took out a Card Activation Fee of $120.00 at which time I called the company and spoke w/ a svc. rep. about getting a refund and the rep. told me that my package was already on its way and there will be a refund form enclosed.

My package did not arrive until 01/02/08 and I'm once again charged for a $99.00 monthly membership fee; and inside the envelope which comes w/ the package is a letter stating that I have 30 days from my card activation which was dated 11/24/07 (Do the Math).

Well, I immediately call the company and told another rep. what took place. He then puts me on with a manager who will supposedly rectify this issue. After telling my story, this gentleman tells me that I'm accusing his staff of being dishonest but if I return the package in perfect condition he would be able to refund only the Card Activation Fee of $120.00. Not the prossessing of $79.00 nor the $99.00 monthly membership fee taken out the first of the new year in which should have never been taken out due to the fact that I was given notice by one of thier reps. (whose name I do have) and a two week extension for a refund!!!

I could go on and on but that's pretty much it for now. I apologize for not giving the "reader's digest" version of my story but it couldn't be helped. So to all of those people who may come across this company. I would advise you to STAY CLEAR!!!
