After having our lawyers draw up and send a letter informing them of our intentions to take them to small claims court if they don't refund us our money, we received a response from them offering us a settlement of $300 and some vouchers for several weekend getaways (one of which expired in Dec 1997). As well they now say we owe them $7000.00 in legal fees and that it will continue to grow if we don't accept the settlement. If you want to see for yourself what they consider to be a "luxury vacation home that is upscale and comfortable" I have posted pictures at: http://s727.photobucket.com/albums/ww275/kuiperssm/?albumview=slideshow
