Jamie Stanford Kitchen & Bath Design Jamie Stanford Did not use my down payment for my kitchen remodel - still owes me money West Palm Beach Florida
I hired Jamie Stanford KItchen & Bath Design Jan 2016 as designer and "project manager" for my kitchen remodel & floor tile installation on my kitchen & adjacent sunroom. He used GC Cabinet & Stone Supply as contractor for the kitchen. I paid Jamie $19,000 1/26/16 for 75% of the kitchen cabinets so they could be ordered. I paid another $12,000 in Feb 2016 for the floor tile & installation, counter slab & other kichen items.
About the end of March 2016, I ran into issues finding out that the adjacent sunroom was built by the previous owner without a permit. It took until the end of July for me to resolve before the county would allow work to restart on the kitchen end of July 2016.
By that time, Jamie Stanford & Cliff Tippens at GC Cabinet & Stone got into a dispute & ended their relationship for my kitchen remodel. Cliff at GC Cabinet did complete the kitchen remodel. When the work was being split, Jamie owed me money for the work that hadn't been done or items ordered yet. We agreed he owed me $6300 Aug 2016 which he even wrote me a check without a date.
To-date he has paid me $1000 so he still owes me $5300. I have a log of the dates I've contacted him & his ernest replies that he will pay me back. He has even gone as far as hiring a financial manager to help him put together a budget around Oct 2017. My last call last week to the financial manager has not been returned.
Doing another search on the ripoff report I found several more additions so Jamie is continuing with his shady practices. He hides behind his church & God but he is still a crooked shyster.
Do not hire Jamie Stanford. His real business seems to be cheating people with poor project management, charging unfair rates, not completing the work or cheating you out of money he owes you.
