i am sorry to hear that you where upset - about the wait time - in regards to your glasses - however - although i do nto work for them any longer - getting your glasses from over seas is not alwagys quicker - lenscrafters quotes this time of 2 weeks ( sometimes longer for specialty jobs - or a drill mnt frame- " however we order one of our lenses from france - it is a progressive from essilor - and it takes up to 4-6 weeks - by lencrafters quoting a 2 week time frame - it allows room in case the glasses come in wrong - or they have a quality isseue arise - with them - also more improtantly - depending when they are ordered - most labs are closed the weekends - so if you order them on say a friday - by the time they get then - 4 days are already gone - by monday - also when uyou look at the shipping times ect - they really may only have 1 week to make them - most importantly - by quoting this time - they DON'T have PTS calling them 3 days later - or even 1 week later asking "" are my glasses done " -- !! this used to drive me nuts - listen we want you to have them as fast as you do - but there are so many products out there - everyone can not keep everythign on the shelfs - it is pointless - to have lenses sit there - costing $$- if you use 1 or 2 per yr - granted if you want a lower quality product - i am sure they could have got it the same day - but it appears you waited this long for your glases - what is another 2 weeks ?
