Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
These guys advertise on Craigslist in San Luis Obispo

First of all, These guys are NOT Movers. They do NOT employee veterans and they are NOT veterans themselves.
Their whole scheme is to prey upon your sympathy and hire them instead of "REAL" movers.
They have no license, permit, insurance, bond or workers comp. They have no experience or knowledge of what to do, or how to do it... they can't even load a truck properly.

I found out that they've had many complaints on craigslist of scamming people & damaging goods.
I hired them and they were a mess. They didn't even know how to properly carry the furniture and broke several pieces.

After only 3 hours of gouging walls, throwing items into the truck (resulting in shattered glass & fragile items), and literally pulling the top off of an antique piece... they said that they were tired and took a 30 minute break (which they tried to bill me for).

My stuff wasn't packed into the truck, each piece was thrown in on top of other pieces. I kept telling them to use the moving pads (which I supplied)... they responded: "Lady, we're professionals", then ignored me.

They didn't rope off the stuff in the truck and everything fell over (we only moved 4 blocks away).
They drove the truck over the curbs and almost took out a pedestrian and a mail box and a parked car... it was clear that they couldn't even drive a 17 foot Uhaul.

They kept talking & texting on their phone and it took just as long to unload the truck into the garage as it took to load it (I was afraid they would damage they walls in my new home, so I told them to put it all in the garage).

It only took the other movers 3 hours to move me into the other house. This time, It took these MORONS almost 6 and a half hours, and it was a much easier move... WTF??

I subtracted an hour for their breaks & phone time.
They got very angry and started yelling & threatening me...when I acted like I was calling the police, they took off like a bat out of hell and almost ran into a telephone pole.

There is only 1 person I found on Craigslist that is an actually licensed moving business. almost 20 years of experience & hundreds of good references and on Angie's-list.... I wish I would have called him.

I'm giving up Craigslist and Joining Angies-list.... Craigslist is full of Scammers & Spam and "Craig" allows this to happen.

P.S.

I found a list of illegal movers and these guys "Let Veterans help You Move" are at the top of the list.
They are exploiting "American Veterans" by using that term in their fraudulent ads.

Their Craigslist ads should be flagged.

These guys are a scam.

I'm not even going to go into how they scammed me, but I will say this: These guys do NOT have the authority to move anybody's belongings. They are operating illegally plain and simple!!

Just try to get a "VALID" license number, Insurance information, movers Permit number or Workers Comp information from them.... you can't, because they don't have any.

I do remember seeing a whole lot of complaints from customers (about 6 months ago, or so)  when these guys were on Craigslist... then after a lot of complaints, these guys stopped advertising. Now they are back on Craigslist a few days ago and they already have someone complaining about them.

I looked them up and found that they have no moving permit, license, etc. to operate as so-called "veteran movers".  I do know (and have seen) that they have used several (Fraudulent) business names in their advertisements and the name "Randy Miller" pops up as the Owner of this fake company.

Just like all other scams, they will always deny having ever moved you.

We don't know who this person is and we do employee veretans and we support our community. We have even done work for free to help Veterans. Not alway is the complete staff Veterans but most are. If this person had these problems they never spoke with me. I have zero complains and would be happy to result any concern anyone has.
