Mayhem Promotion is out of business thank God but they at one time put on mixed martial arts fight shows in St. Charles, IL. They claimed to have 8-10 fights but the one event I came to they only had 6 fights and the fights were terrible. They (especiall Jeff Albin who is based in South Elgin, IL) refuses to refund any money to any customers that bought tickets. They are typical fight promoters that only want to steal your money and give you sub standard shows.
They are out of business claiming because their sponsors did not pay them but of course people would not support their awful shows hence OUT OF BUSINESS. They took tickets sales money and just ran off in exchange for sub standard fight shows.
I am writing this report in case that they emerge again (Jeff Albin) claiming another name and trying to rip off more MMA fight fans. These guys are terrible and con artist and Im glad they are out of business. Shows they fight fans will catch on and not support this kind of nonsense. I have no chance of ever getting my money back or any of their sponsors getting any value from their marketing dollars but justice is served when they went out of business. They do a huge dis-service to local Chicago fight promotion community.
