Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Merchant Direct Services is the most unethical business I have ever worked with.  It all started in June of 2009 when they solicited me.  They explained that they could offer me much lower rates on my credit card processing fees.  I must admit that it is my fault for not researching this company before signing any agreement because as I now investigate this company I find nothing but terrible stories of other individuals and companies who have had the same experience.  Not to mention this company has a rating of F with the Better Business Bureau.

When I signed up for service with them I explained that I would not participate if they had an early termination fee.  They agreed.  As months went by I noticed that my credit card processing fees not only decreased but they actually went up.  I called and spoke with my representative, Clinton Koehler, who state he filled out the paperwork properly and would get it taken care of.

Subsequently as months went by the same results.  Higher rates than previous.  I tried to contact me representative for nearly a month leaving several messages.  None were returned.  I spoke with Patti Prine, who state that shw would have my rates re-evaluated.  I never heard back for several weeks.  I called her back and she stated I would need to talk to the boss, Bob Derthick.  Guess what--I have still to hear from Bob.

When I inquired about the fact that I requested no early termination fees on my contract they agreed that that was the case.  However, I would have to over $1,000 for the remainder of my contract.  I explained that I did not have an early termination fee and they classified this with some other technical name.

I am now working with the Attorney General's office.  My advice--stay away frm this scandalist company.  They are unethical with no moral standing.  I wish I had done my homework first; but after looking at reports on this company I'm not alone.  Class-Action Lawsuit???
