BE CAREFUL.
In my opnion, he did not treat me or my friends nicely. He overcharges for a DISGUTING PROPERTY. I remeber he was touring the house to new people and increased the rent right then and there, which they are leagally able to do but the state of the house did not warrant it. When I moved in, little to nothing was done to clean the row house. The state of the floors were atrocious, and he would not replace them for the time I rented; he installed, in my opnion, cheaper laminante flooring. Also, the second floor balcony roof was falling apart -- nothing was done, and it as clearly visible from the outside. Futhermore, the 1st floor bathrooms' pipes freeze, and the guy who came to fix it, tried, but FAILED. The pipes still froze. I cleaned the whole house and even repainted the floor boards and Edwards still complained about the dirtiness when I finally moved out. The house was in a better state than what he gave it to me in.
Now for the security deposit. His check bounced multiple times, and my parents had to hire a lawyer to fianlly settle things. I was in college at the time so I had little to no money in my accounts. His bounced checks put my account in the red. Additionally, his kitchen cabinets fell OFF THE WALL and he never replaced the broken items (though it may be argues that my roommated never fully pursued this matter.)
HE INSTALLED AN INTERIOR DOOR FOR THE BASEMENT DOOR WHICH LEADS TO A BALTIMORE ALLEY. We had someone pick through the door and get in because the door was that cheap, and he went on to blame us saying we created an environment to promote a break in. I could have been killed while the man came into my room while I was sleeping as I did not know the man and I personally feared for my life.
If my family member or friend was looking for rental properties I would not recommened working with this person.
