I highly recommend that NO ONE buy from Nate Wade Subaru! I found what I thought was my dream car, until it turned into a nightmare.

 

The car was a 2005 Subaru Outback 2.5 XT. It had recently been brought in as a trade in and there was some work needed on it. Big stuff. Fan belts, timing belt, turbo replaced... The finance guy at Nate Wade, Steve Yates, assured me the work had been done. To double check, I asked if I could take the car to an outside mechanic. Steve said that was unneccessary, and let me take it any way. The mechanic did a visual inspection and without hesitation after seeing the timing belt said, "none of the work has been done." I took the car back to the dealership and told Steve what the mechanic said. He told me the mechanic was lying to me because I am a woman! In return, I said "how do I know you aren't lying to me?" So, to settle it, I took the car to a different mechanic and got the same response. "None of the work has been done." in addition to "you should NOT buy this car". I kick myself to this day for not listening to that mechanic. I took the car back to the dealership they did the said repairs and i ended up buying it. 

 

About a year, and $1,000 in repairs later, I blew out a tire. At the tire shop the guys pointed out I had the wrong size tires on my car. The dealership sold me that car knowing it was slapped together with whatever it seemed they could find lying around. And didn't give a s**t! Over 3 years of owning the car I put more that $8,000 into it on repairs. I will end my nightmare share there.

 

 I personally know and love the Wade family. It's unfortunate that their name is still on the dealership when it is under different ownership.
