Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

8 Months Old and the Gibson Heatpump I bought from Nordyne Failed and ran for a week causing Damage to other parts of the Unit including Compressor.  Nordyne will replace one part at a time even when each install is over $400 in Labor that I need to pay.   Called a number that Nordyne calls "Customer Relations" and recieved a call back a week later from bob Marx who did not know the product but proceeded to be Arrogant, Rude and doesnt possess an ounce of communication skills.

Basically laughing at the situation the failing product has put me in.   I wil lnot have a Minimum of $1200 of Labor into this Unit and the Clown on the phone is Laughing..  Replacing the Damaged Compressor at the same time would save me $400 in labor..  If bob marx is the person who is putting a face on Nordyne..  Pull your Stock now!..  I just wish I lived closer to O'Fallon..

Do not buy any product that this Company is involved with!..

Installation is critical

The NORDYNE warranty on Gibson products covers parts. Labor is not included in the manufacturer’s warranty, but a labor warranty can be purchased separately through your installing contractor. Typically, problems within the first year of operation are covered by the installing contractor since so many things can happen during installation. A heat pump is not a refrigerator that just needs to be plugged in to work. With heating and cooling equipment, installation is critical to the success of the system.

If your compressor has stopped working, it should qualify for replacement under our warranty. Please have your technician contact his distributor for warranty claims. If the compressor is still running, however, it does not qualify for replacement.
