OnRebate 2 things, first failed to send rebate then after fighting them and receiving it, their check BOUNCED costing me $100.00 total. ripoff Boca Raton Florida
On-Rebate is a scam operation. In December I purchased a computer monitor through Tiger Direct- only because there was a 50.00 that came with the purchase.
It was a complete hassle and nightmare from the start. On-rebate never issued or processed my rebate- they said they never received the documentation they required. I sent it 3 times. I faxed it a fourth time. Finally, after calling corporate headquarters and finding the head of customer service (Marsha Tate), I was issued the 50.00 rebate.
HOWEVER, not surprisingly, the check bounced. I was charged 50.00 from my bank for a returned check fee. Now I am out 100.00.
This company has been NOTHING but a headache and heartache to deal with. I bought this product in good faith and have been punished for it by about 30 phone calls and 4 months of stress.

Dear Liz, We sincerley apologize for the check bouncing. The bank states that the check bounced because it was issued on 02/08/06 and you deposited on 05/17/06. Please note that all checks void after 90 days but we have proceeded to reissue a new check in full amount. We did not see a charge back fee of $50.00 on the bank statement you sent us so we cannot credit that amount. The new check will be going out by next week. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
