Watch out! Fake PayPal wants your account info!

Mail received that looks like it comes from PayPal. They want you to update your profile - bank account info - or a disaster will happen, quote:

-------

"As a result, to ensure that your service is not interrupted we request you to confirm and verify your account information By Clicking Here . However Failure to do so will result in abnormal account behaviour during transactions."

---------

When clicking on the highlighted "click here" you end up in the scammers own created version of PayPal that looks just like real PayPal.

Do never fill in anything!

Because it easier than doing the research to avoid it. it only takes a few minutes - but they cannot be bothered. Most people who post about getting scammed, never even LOOK at other reports before they post their own story.

#4Consumer Suggestion

It simply amazes me as to how many people will get on the internet with little or no security / protection!! If you get on the internet at all, you MUST have UP TO DAY antivirus protection, antispyware protection, firewall protection, etc. This is NOT optional. Then, you need to throw a little common sense into the mix! WHY would you click on a link in a spam email? WHY would you even open a spam email? Why would you even let this crap on your computer at all? Learn how to block the crap. You need to educate yourself on how to spot a scam email BEFORE opening it. EDUCATE YOURSELF!!!
