The company provides a formula to calculate the total cost of an order. Using their weight per item and multiplying by the number ordered shows that the weight of the order is considerably lighter that they claim, 27lbs in my case (the company charges for shipping based on weight). When asked about this, the following chat session exchange took place.
Me: ...the numbers don't add up and what percentage are you using for sales tax?
Rep: Are you from CA?
Me: Yes
Rep: 15% Sales Tax
Me: In CA??? I pay 7.75% here in San Diego. How do you come up with 15%?
Rep: Its a rule on the system
Me: Are you serious? This is fraud! Sales tax isn't whatever you decide to put into the system.
Rep: We are not Fraud
Before I could reply, he followed up with:
Rep: Thanks for chatting with us! Have a great day!!! Follow us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/PrintsMadeEasy
The chat session was immediately ended by the rep and I could not reply.
This company is taking advantage of anyone who does not bother to check the math. STAY AWAY from them, it will be the very best move you have ever made.
