Progressive Insurance - Lerory Howell - Joshua Randolph, agent claiming that my vehcile has been in more than one automobile accident and is trying to give me kibbles and bits for my vehicle. Mr. Randolph is only trying to pay me what I owe on my car and not the book value, ripoff. Columbus Ohio
My car was involved in a accident while my son was driving it. The other driver went left of center and hit my car head on. The other driver refused to give me his insurance information for almost a month. The accident was on 8/23/2005. The insurance adjuster, Joshua Randolph, contacted me Monday, September 12, 2005.
At the time of the contact with the insurance company, I had already put my car in the shop for repair. I informed the adjuster where my car was located. Joshua Randolph contacted me on 9/13/2005, stating that my car was involved in another accident after Lerory Howell hit my car head on.
I argued the point that I have not been in a accident in 20 years, and it would be a matter of public record if I had been in an accident. Joshua Randolph researched how much was owed on my car, and that is what he stated that he was willing to pay me for his client totalling my car. Joshua stated that my car was rusted, and there were white marks on the right front bumper. I informed him that I have pictures of before and after, and that he is sadly mistaken.
Joshua then stated that it is costing his company $15.00 per day for my car to stay where it was and I needed to make a decision. He then stated that he did not have to give me but $1000.00.
I went to see my car 8/14/2005, and the marks are from the head on collision, the rust is from the collision. The worker where my car is located informed me that he told Joshua that those marks were from the head on collison.
The book value on my car is $2200.00, and he wants to give me $1556.00. I told Joshua that I am tired of people trying to do me without my permission, and to look for himself on ripoffreport.com.
At that time I kindly hung up the phone on him. Joshua has tried to contact me today, 8/14/2005. He went straight to voice mail.
