S K TaxiS K Taxi, Inc Picked up/ dropped off at DOUBLE the rate. Dispatcher said fare started from where she called taxi, not actual pickup location. Nashua New Hampshire
On Wednesday, March 12, 2008 I called S K Taxi, Inc. as I had several times before and was taken just under 3 miles to go to the grocery store, a destination that they have taken me many before. The driver said the fare was $11.25!!!! I called the dispatcher to clarify and Laurie stated the fare started from where the cab was coming from, not the actual mileage as it had always been. From any cab service locally, it is ALWAYS about $6 max. as it had been with them. She was belligerent and rude. I ended up walking home after 3 phone calls to Laurie who would not give me a manager or owner name and did not care what I had to pay for the fare.
