I saw an advertisement for 4g tmobile service for 79.99. I had a previous company which I had trouble receiving calls so I thought if I pay for t-mobile I would get better service. Big mistake. First, I had trouble with the phone. I paid for a better phone then the free junky ones that they offer. They ARE junk. I know about cell phones and all of the free ones are less than 1GHz which is slow. Not slow for a free phone but slow for a contract free phone. Thats not even what my beef is. Well, after about a week the phone would simply not receive calls. I would call it while it was sitting next to me and it just wouldnt ring. It would ring on the phone I was calling it from then go to voicemail. No missed call, nothing. So I called them and they blamed it on me. They said I had to reboot it every day. Well, I turn my phone off at night. Not that quick off they provide, but totally off... so it couldn't be that but they wouldn't listen.

So i got a new phone sent to me at their suggestion which they told me would be free of charge. This is where my trouble began. I tried to pay my bill and noticed the price went up to $120. I called them to ask what's going on and they told me there was a 19.99 charge for shipping the new phone which I was told would be no charge to ship it to me. T-mobile said they would take the charge off. When I asked them why I was even charged in the first place, they said it was the billing system and they don't automatically take it off, the customer has to call in to request it. I think that's just wrong. THEN, I noticed another 9.99 charge for their mobi tv service. Their mobi tv service comes preinstalled on the phone and there is no way to remove it. I never used it and they charged me for it. So I took off their whole little stock operating system and replaced it with CM7 (its a android rom). No more mobi tv icon.

So then I went to go pay my bill and noticed the charges were still there. I refuse to pay companies when their billing system does not reflect what they tell me. The billing system still showed the charges, but they tried to convince me to just pay it anyway. Well, I am not falling for that trick because it was indeed a trick. So I waited the amount of time they told me it would take for the bill to go through. Still no change. Waiting and waiting I finally called them back after the bill was overdue for only a day.

This is where the operator was rude, calling me by my first name in a derogatory manner like I was a 5 year old. So I pushed back and she got even ruder. Then finally the 19.99 charge was taken off, but the 9.99 charge was still there. They told me it would be a month or so before I would see the change.

The bill rose above $100 and I don't even have decent service. Thankfully I waited to pay the bill and saw my next month's service which rose to above $140. I called them again explained my story and actually got a polite operator... too bad she wasn't able to help me so I had to get transferred and explain my story yet again. There was a $50 charge which they said was for new equipment. They didn't even know what it was for until I was transferred to yet ANOTHER rep who I had to explain my story to.

Finally, they told me it was a $50 charge for my phone which I already paid or else they wouldn't have sent it to me obviously. I had to wade through 2 months of bank charges to find where they charged me for the phone. Fed up with having to call them repeatedly every week to dispute different charges, I just said forget it, and hung up because they didn't even know what they were doing and I can tell when someone is trying to scam me.

They are rude, they will jack up your prices and hide it from you, and when you call in, they promise to fix the bill but it never gets fixed. Then they treat you like a child because you catch them in a lie. I really expected more but these t-mobile people are just horrible horrible angry people. I warn you to beware of this company.
