the mattress stop trying to double charge for mattress put 600.00 on my credit card and charged 1100 to crest finance co the sale was only for 1100.00 rowlett Texas
on 6 3 2013 i went to mattress stop to look at a mattress after talking to J W i filled out a credit report for a place called Crest finance .When I returned that evening and looked at the terms they had put on the lease agreement I told them to cancell the contract the interest was out ragious . Itold him Iwould check my credit tro see if we could us them .When I called J W back and told him Ionly could charge 600.00on it . he then called me back and said that if we charged the600.00 the owner finance the balance at 100.00 a month .
Isaid ok and the mattress was delivered . On 6 13 2013 i looked at my bank account and found that crest had taken 82.50 out of my account Icallaed the mattress stop and spoke with Cesey Van LOON who was supposed to be the manager He told me he would cancell the crest contract On friday JW Hood who is supposed to be the owner called me and said he was at the store and would take care of the problem and call me back which he never called back .
Ihave since found out that they never cancelled the contract and have been paid by crest plus the 600.00 they put on my card we have a bill of sale for 1100.00 and Casey is now trying to say the 600.00was only a down payment that the sale was for 1700.00 when there sale price was only 1495.00 before they did the discount .Ihave a recording of Casey saying that the owner cancelled the contract with crest on that friday morning but he will not tell me how to contact the owner are where the 4 stores he ows is . Casey is a bald faced liar and the owner is appariantly a crook

I am not writing this to argue who was right or wrong, or to give any excuses. I would simply like to inform everyone that Mr. Van Loon is no longer a part of Mattress Stop. I am the new owner and I do understand and regret the frustration endured by our customers and I hope that anyone who feels that they were treated wrong by this company will give us another chance in the future. I myself have been in the mattress business for many years and I have never had any bad reports made about my companies. I hope to continue to do good business and treat every customer with the upmost respect and dignity that you all deserve. Again please come in to our store and let us take care of all your home furnishing and mattress needs. You will not be dissapointed, I personally gurantee that. Thank you and we look forward to doing business with the Rowlett/Rockwall communities.
