The Vertical Project Luke Lowrey Internet Scam Internet
The Vertical Project is a scam! Stay away from any business with Luke Lowrey.
In respond to an email from Luke Lowrey promoting the v.3.0 of the Vertical Project for USD$1.00, I ordered a copy in Oct 2009 just to see what it was about. I did not get the program to download the first time so I ordered again thinking what the hack, it's just another $1.00. In Oct 09 I received two emails from the vendor confirming they will bill me USD$1.00 for each of my order and subsequently received my Oct credit card bill with 2 charges of USD$1.00, which appeared ok. However, in Nov and Dec 09, I noticed recurring charges of two USD$179.85 charges in each month's credit card bill.
I contacted the company repeatedly by email but only received an automatic reply asking for more information. I finally get through and was informed by a Ms. Faith Mancini (Client Liaison) that the repeated $179.85 charges were for joining the Lowrey's Performance Inner Circle, which I had not agreed to. I am still trying to get my refund of USD$719.40 wrongful charges.
