Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My girl and myself went uptown sushi. At one time the waiter came to the table I told her I have a shellfish allergy as well as me being religious Jew and can't have any shellfish. We order sushi and was ok then we decided to govern more.. I order sushi roll no. 2 and I needed the water to go and check with the chef that there are no shellfish in it. She got back and told me that there no shell fish. When I begin eating the sushi I felt something weird. All the cream was with crab meat! After eating three pieces I called the waiter and she replied: "oh! I am so sorry". My complaint to the managers, no one called me back, my email - no one replied. I was three days and night in very severe situations - throwing up and in the restroom most of my day. That's terrible that restaurant can't take responsibility. I will probably never go there again!!

Oh yes the "I don't like what you said so I am going to accuse you of working for the company".  So sorry to burst your bubble, but I have never worked for this resturant, in fact I am a couple thousand miles away so I have never even stepped foot in it.  The fact is you posted on a PUBLIC web site, and as such the PUBLIC may post responses...and surprise surprise not all may be in agreement with you.

But you see the purpose of the post was served.  Had you not gotten the response  you would have left your original post with anyone who read your report that they didn't do anything but have the waitress say she was sorry.   As you stated the following.

"My complaint to the managers, no one called me back, my email - no one replied."

That would make any regular person think that they totally brushed you off afterwards.  But in your update we find that that is not exactly the truth as your story changed...

"why did you suspended the waiter if that's was my fault? Why did your manager came to apologize."

So now not only did the manager apologize but they suspended the waitrer(or was it waitress). Had I not posted you NEVER would have put that little bit of information in, and most people would think that without that you are being biased and not totally truthful.   Or do you now want us to believe that they called you in the couple hour period between the time you posted the original post and the update?  Remember how I said that the "Double Excuse" only builds on itself....

But I can see you now..you will say that you Emailed them after the fact and they never responded.  Perhaps this statement has something to do with that..

"Fifth, you could solve it way faster and cheaper but your chose the wrong way."

So tell us, exactly what did you state in the emails.  What did you want them to do in their response to you?  Perhaps you can even post the text of the e-mails you sent them so we can see the entire context.   Were you asking for money?  Were you saying if you didn't get something you would post a review online(AKA Blackmail)?  As for you to expect a response I am sure it wasn't "Hi how are you doing today".

Again...just trying to get to the REAL story here...

First, we didn't have menus the waiter has taken them Second, I served in two wars as a navy seal solider so excuses are not something in my vocabulary Third, I found out of being allergic to shellfish when I was 12 and almost died Fourth, why did you suspended the waiter if that's was my fault? Why did your manager came to apologize. Fifth, you could solve it way faster and cheaper but your chose the wrong way. Will be extremely expensive. Good luck

Double Excuse

There was a TV show on at one time that had an entire episode dedicated to the "Double Excuse" as a way to tell when someone is lying. This is pretty obvious here that you are not telling the full story.

Your "Double Excuse" - You are allergic to Shellfish AND have a religious objection to eating Shellfish.

Here is the thing with that, if you are a Religious Jew who can't eat shellfish, just how do you know you are allergic to it? If you have had Shellfish before, then you have broken Jewish law before. You see the "Double Excuse" contradicts each other out and makes it obvious that it probably isn't the truth. As you will now have to come up with more excuses to try and convince people that your original excuses are real.

So I took a look at the #2 Roll you ordered. Guess what the FIRST ingredient for that roll that was listed on their Menu....Snow Crab.

So with all of your allergies and religious objections, you have never learned to READ a menu?

Then let us not forget that you went to a SUSHI restaurant, where shell fish is going to be an ingredient in a significant number of dishes and there is NO way unless you go to a "Kosher" Sushi House(if they even exist) you can guarantee that there wouldn't be some cross contamination during the prep. So for all you know you could have broken Jewish law every time you have ever eaten any sushi.

Oh but then you top it off by saying you will "probably" never go there again. Really..so a restaurant that you claim almost killed you and directly disrespected your religion is one you are going back to?

FYI people with TRUE allergic reactions wouldn't just end up in the bathroom or a few hours. If this was going on for 3 days you should have gone to the ER.
