In Oct 2008 I opted to enroll in US Fidelis to protect my car. They asked when taking my application over the phone for many questions one of them being the MILELAGE of the Car which it wasn't in my Possesion at the time so I told them this and estimated the milelage They had NO PROBLEM when I told them the milelage wasn't correct. But I've been paying the monthly fees on time and all. Now My car has self destructed from the inside out I called Fidiles to file a claim and they told me that there was a mileage discrepancy and they needed an ivoice or some other kind of document that states the mileage, I went out of my mind digging through boxes and looking through draws to find an adequate invoice after faxing it to them 6 or 7 times they finally adjusted my mileage

This all started exact 1 month ago today when I took the car to Downs Ford here in TOMS RIVER NJ. Where they too are charging me diagnostic fees due to FIDELIS Telling me to take the car to a FORD DEALER so they Can Diagnose the Problem and pay them to fix it. But the Ford Dealer too has been calling me to find out what's going on with the fidelis thing. I called them numerous times only to get the run around I was told that the mileage was adjusted and that I should wait for an adjuster but no adjuster showed up, where the Ford Dealer where expecting them so He called me to call them Again and FInd out! Now I called them again, This time they told me that I did not meet their requiremnts and my claim was denied keep in mind I pay them $101.39 monthly have never missed or been late with a single payment only to be turned down to have my vehicle fixed my total mileage on my vehicle is 116728 and the adjusted mileage is 115243 which makes a difference of 1485 mile which they tell me is 15 miles less than they require! Remember when they first took the information they where ahead by over 20,000 miles meaning My insurance ended earlier due to their mistake for taking the WRONG milage in the GetGo.

I wanted to take them to court but my wife said I should try you first we watch your show and love it when you expose peoples scams we live here in ocean county nj toms river to be exact but our poor car did not fare so well ..please help us! EXPOSE these SCAMMERS!

Curtis The only way to get ahead of this company is to contact the Attorney General in your state. I URGE YOU to do this. Here is there website: http://www.nj.gov/oag/ca/contactinfo.htm This company is under investigation by several states. Governor of Missouri, Jay Nixon used to be the attorney general in the state and he started a lawsuit against them that is still active, as well. Please read ALL the posts made by me to further see why you need to do this. They do not know unless we as consumers act on it. You may also find interesting to read the lates post that Wise Country guy wrote a few days ago. I found it interesting. Good luck.
