I did an internet search for deals on hot tubs. We purchased a hot tub at what we thought was a very good price. We were dumb enough to send payment in full via an e-check to pay for our tub. We are now ending 2011 and we have not gotten the tub that we have already paid for. Steve Winston is the rep that we have been dealing with and he refuses to give us a refund. We never signed a binding contract. All we were sent was a pdf invoice for the tub.
We have called Steve many many many times and he has only called us once. I think he is afraid to call us because he is hiding the fact that his company is a farce. He has no idea where our tub is and I am worried that I will be out nearly $4000 that was sent in good faith. We have sent Steve Winston several emails with repeated requests to send us our money back and he refuses to do so. I want a peaceful resolution to the situation but I honestly feel that Steve Winston is hiding something and that I won't get my money back. I recently found out that I have a disabling disorder that causes me to be in pain every single day. The hot tub was a mother's day present for me and my husband (who was hit by a drunk driver) to enjoy when our bodies were in pain.
We are now being ignored by Steve Winston and I may be out money that I really didn't have in the first place. I call the numbers that we have on the invoice and we never get return phone calls. Getting a hold of anyone there is impossible. Value Point Distribution is a total ripoff!!
