Washington Mutual harrassement, let my homeowners insurance laspe twice, threatened repossession. Rip-off! Milwaukee Wisconsin
WaMu took over my mortagage in Aug. 4 years ago. In Dec. they let my homeowners insurance laspe from nonpayment. It was included in my escrow account. Last year for some reason my payments were messed up and it took me two weeks calling WaMu and their lawyer to get the amount I needed to pay to prevent forclosure. I paid the full amount they requested on Nov. 27, made a payment for the next month on Dec. 1 and on Dec. 15 I was told I was again a month behind.
I, also, found out that they let my insurance again laspe and now I have to pay extra for their mistake. This does not include the calls I get at all times of the day. One agent will give me one story... I make an effort to send the money... and then the next agent will tell me the previous one was not correct and I don't get credit for the payment.
I wish WaMu would sell my account so I can get some sleep again
